Monthly Yarn Club

I design a pattern each month for Dexter's Rainbow who hold a monthly yarn club. I love crochet so much that it is a pleasure to create something new each month and a challenge to create something with just 100g of gorgeous hand dyed yarn. I am going to list my monthly designs here and if you would like to join the club then please pop over to Dexter's Rainbow by clicking here and send Tracey a message. For the pattern just click on the photo and you will be re-directed to my Ravelry store. Dexter's Rainbow now sell kits so they are available every day not just part of the monthly club.

February 2016 - Crochet Hook Roll

I have designed so many things to wear that it was time time for something different. So this months yarn club is a crochet hook roll made using beautiful hand dyed 100% fine merino DK with 20% silk and 5 % stellina sparkle.

January 2016 - Hat or Cowl?

I was asked by Tracey over at Dexter's Rainbow to make something different for this months yarn club, so here is my take on a slouchy hat that can also be worn as a cowl. Modelled by lovely daughter.

December 2015 - 10" Tablet Envelope

With Christmas in mind I designed a tablet envelope which would make a perfect gift either for yourself or a loved one.

November 2015 - Funky Bag

Just for something a little different, I created this cute funky bag using a lovely soft 100% super wash merino singles roving style in DK

October 2015 - Chunky Alpaca Cowl

I made this super warm cowl using a fabulous 100% baby alpaca. The alpaca is so soft and squishy.

September 2015 - Boot Cuffs & Fingerless Gloves

I was surprised at how far 100g of gorgeous 100% super wash merino aran would go. I managed to create these lovely boot cuffs and fingerless gloves from just 1 ball.

August 2015 - Summer Wrap

I surprised myself with this one, I wanted a shoulder wrap and with only 100g to create with it was a challenge, however I think it turned out lovely. This wrap can be worn as a scarf, wrap around the shoulders or even a sarong.

I used 75% super wash merino, 20% nylon, 5% stellino sparkle 4ply sock yarn.

The pattern is easy to follow and can easily made larger. I used a full 400m in a 100g ball.

July 2015 - Lacy V Stitch Infinity Scarf

A lovely V stitch classic infinity scarf, I used 100% merino tweed DK x 100g to create this design.

Pattern is easy to follow and it creates a classic scarf that is timeless.
